My little comedian

Yesterday began with a memorial service to say goodbye to a sweet little boy - Kyle Murray.  Long, long story and lots of history there and this mama's heart was shredded for his mom, Elizabeth.

I CANNOT FATHOM losing my child.  I have heard my mother say it a million times but now I GET IT.  Having Tristan has changed my outlook on life 100%.

Needless to say, after sobbing for about an hour, I cam home to change and I was attempting to use the restroom in private and Tristan just wanted in.

Mommy can I come in? Mama can we play football? Mommy, can I eat sugar? And finally I just said "PLEASE, I just need 5 minutes... it's been a hard morning "

Then I heard (in the tiniest voice ever) "Mama , do you want to build a snooooowman? Ride a bike around the haaaall?"

I immediately busted out laughing, flung through the door and hugged that child. He made me smile when I needed it most. Love this kid so much!!!

Dallas Cowboys vs. my NY Giants

It's always a hard call for me... who to cheer for.  Cowboys have my heart but those Giants have my soul.

I scored some free tickets and off we went!

First to pick up the parking pass...

 Found out the day before we had field passes.  Got to see all of this up close and personal!!

Then I turned around to head to our seats and BOOM!  There's Lane.  Little stinker had better seats than we did but I bet money Mom and I had more fun!!!

Bad Mommy and her hard dilemma

So, I made the decision a while back to not keep all of Tristan's homework and artwork.  It's sad but I have a small house with limited storage.

Every Monday we take his work from his bag and then some makes it ON the fridge the rest we discuss, praise him on and then I secretly toss in the trash.  *SIGH* I feel SO bad BUT I don't want to be a pack rat.

So to capture the moment, I save some of the stuff here - so we'll have it forever vs. keeping boxes of stuff I most likely will never look through.

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip 2014
