2014 Fun Run

Time to run some laps for Grace Academy!!!

Warm up time! 

I arrived early enough to see the end of Rett and Co's run

T is ready to do this (getting cheered on by his teacher, Mrs. Galimore!)

a little bit into it 

(I think he sprinted and couldn't catch his breath)

then was bawling and begged me to let him quit - BEGGING "MOMMY, PLEEEASE!!??!!??"

It was awful...

So, I carried him around a few laps... then Kimmie stepped in 

(I'm pretty sure she saw I was drenched in sweat!)

I took him again ... then I may or may not have told him how "his friends were smoking him and man, they were fast, and wow..."

BOOM - he was off and running!

That competitive gene can serve it's purposes sometimes!

This is his buddy Mia... sure do love those dimples!!

G wasn't messing around...

he finished FIRST for the 3rd year in a row

(beat all of K5, 1st and 2nd grade!!)

Happy as a lark

Boom... Co was very theatrical the entire time

T had about 2 laps to go but he was coming in strong!

 and smiling!

BOOM - DONE!
