Prior to all this fun, I caught up with my niece Brooke.

You've met her before Tristan... it was just looong ago.  She's kind of your cousin... and I adore her and plan on treating her like she's still in my family.  So, I'm happy to say, when we get to Nashville for a family trip - Daddy and I are hitting the town and you can play with Brookie!!  She's amazing!

He stole my makeup....

He was awfully quiet... and when I went in to check on him

he jumped in the door frame and said

MOMMY - LOOK AT MY WAR PAINT!  DO YOU LIKE IT!?

I was laughing hysterically...

explaining makeup is expensive...

but quite frankly, he was SO thrilled with his work

I clapped.  The threw him in the shower.

Love this kid

You just can't get rid of us

Well, we got up today... and we can't get out.  We're stuck.  They canceled our flight.

So, I sent a nasty email (again) to American - I believe this is #5 in 2 days and then decided, we're here... may as well make the most of it!

Off to see the Alpacas!!  My dad took us there a long time ago... and this was the closest one - thought it would be cool to see and it was!!!

This face!!  He looks like a stuffed animal he's SOOOOO cute!!

They kept smelling T... but jumping away like

"you smell him, no YOU smell him, no YOU!!!!"

The whole lot of boys!!

After this we headed over to Skaneateles for bowling...

There was no A/C (85 degrees here)

but we made the most of it

T was a little stinky because I won, but he came in second (poor Grandma!)

Lastly we had a special visitor - POOLSIE!
Been my bestie since I was 5!!

Seriously doing my best to not lose it.  What a travel nightmare BUT again, did my best to make the most of it for all of it.  If I'm going to be stuck anywhere, I choose home!!!!

Last day home - it was a beautiful one!!

So hard to believe a week has gone by.  How have we been here a week!?!?!?!?

Today we headed to the Owasco Firehouse to play... and play we did!

then we wanted to drive up to the lake and have a picnic...

SUCH a perfect day!!

We even took a nice long walk out to pier

then (of course) we stopped at Tom Thumb for some ice cream

and on the drive home... we saw these lovelies!  I would have pet them but T accidentally honked the horn and spooked them.  They were SO awesome!

we hung out at home a few hours so we could head out and do this!!

DRIVE-IN time!!

We arrived early and had time to play some volleyball before
'How To Train Your Dragon 2'

We played together and found some other kids to join in, it was a great time

After some popcorn and soda.... it was time!

Great movie, great evening.  Thank you Grandma!!!

Think we wore him out!

What a great trip home this was.  Started out rough for us but so far has ended well.

Love you Auburn, NY and I wish we were here more often.  This place is just good for this mama's soul!

Harriet Tubman and some outside fun

We had a quick (sadly, only so much you can do with a 5 year old) tour of Harriet Tubman's home.  Great to learn a little history, I haven't been there since grade school.

T and Harriet

then we headed off for some fun that T could understand...

MINIATURE GOLF at Arnold Palmer...

Grandma rocked it with TWO hole in one's

this little guy did quite well (we don't discuss me)

Thanks for a great day Mom!!!

A little serving and then getting served

Gramma, T and I headed to the store, bought some pet food and dropped it off at the local SPCA.

We have been trying to get back into serving...

It helped, we got to pet kitties along the way!!
After playing and being silly, I picked Jen up so I could go out with the girls.

That's a lot of awesome for one day!

they even sang Happy Birthday to me.. very, very sweet!!

43 isn't so bad :)

Happy birthday to me!

I had a great birthday at the Rochester Children's Museum with Mom, T and Auntie T.
